As an active and engaged community member, David serves on several boards including his alma mater, Marian University in Indianapolis, where he and his late wife were named Distinguished Alumni in 2018. Since 2018 he has served the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum’s board of directors where he has been Vice President of the board. He’s been actively engaged with Village Life Outreach Project, a Cincinnati-based nonprofit that supports schools in Tanzania.
David has a bachelor’s degree in English from Marian University, a master’s degree in English and master’s of science in financial planning with an emphasis in estate planning. He has taken several courses with the Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
David joined Live Like Lou’s Development Committee in 2023 and became a Trustee in 2024. He also serves on the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award Selection Committee through Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.
