Live Like Lou is excited to introduce three members of Lou's Crew! ‍

Rob was one of 580 participants in the June Sprints, an amateur sports car race held yearly at Road America in Wisconsin, and successfully raised $444 for Live Like Lou. He was motivated to make a difference and said, "Through racing, my family has met people living with ALS. This tight-knit community cares about one another, and doing something meaningful was a no-brainer. I'm thrilled to be a part of Lou's Crew to honor Lou Gehrig's legacy and raise awareness for ALS."

Whitney and Wynter set up shop over the summer and sold lemonade on a busy neighborhood street. They even had their friends join in! The sisters reached their fundraising goal and raised awareness for ALS in their community. Reminiscing on how much fun they had, they encourage everyone to join Lou's Crew!

Jeff completed a nine-week adventure where he ran 444 miles across Kansas (yes, you read that right!) and successfully raised over $2,000 for Live Like Lou.

But why? Jeff attended a Phi Delta Theta Fraternity alumni social gathering a few years ago and met Greyson Geiler, Live Like Lou's board treasurer. As the usual networking conversation evolved, it eventually led to the crazy idea of running across the state of Kansas. A quick Google search revealed the total mileage was 444 miles, and Greyson remarked, "You remember that Lou Gehrig's jersey number was four? We have to figure out how to make this run happen." Jeff recognized there was more to life than just himself, and the run was the perfect way to impact others in a memorable way.
